Welcome May!!

It is time for my monthly energy forecast! How did April turn out for you? For me, it was definitely a month for hiding out in a cave, just as Spirit predicted. Here is a reminder of last month's forecast!

In case you did not notice, my weekly blog post was absent in April. This was not my plan, but life happened. A virus of some sort (not Covid) knocked me on my tushi in the beginning of the month, and I spend the rest of the month attempting to catch up.

Anyway, the energy of May seems a lot more fun, so here we go!

May is the fifth month of the year. The number 5 is the number of change. Change can be good, or it can be challenging, but I like to think that if it is challenging, it is because we have outgrown our current state of life, and it is time for something new to be born. In order for new things to birth, often those things we have outgrown have to exit, which can sometimes be painful.

As previously explained, 2023 is a 7 year (2+0+2+3). If we add 7 for 2023 to the 5 for May, we arrive at 12. If we add the 1 and the 2 we get 3. All of these numbers are significant.

Three is the number of movement, manifestation, fun, self-expression, creativity, and sometimes children (1 is the masculine or father, 2 is the feminine or mother, 3 is innocence and childhood.)

May is a month to have some fun and allow your inner child out to play!

That being said, I will be unavailable from May 10 to 20 because hubby and I are off to have an adventure! Internet availability is not guaranteed, so if you are in the habit of booking your appointments with me by text or email, don't expect a reply during those dates! Don't worry! I will be scheduling my card of the day which I post on Facebook and Instagram before I leave, so you can still receive a daily message. If you need a private session with me, you will need to book dates outside of that time frame.

Here are the Tarot cards associated with the 3 and the 12.

The Empress card is often known as the pregnancy card, so this goes right along with the numerology association of the number 3 with the number of the child. Other than that, the Empress is all about family and home. This month would be a good month to work out in your garden or spend time with family. Issues around family or children may come up.

The Hanged Man is a card of giving yourself or your own needs up in order to do something for others. It is the card of sacrifice for a greater cause. Even if it is as simple as giving up sugar to lose some weight, or giving up a bit of time to do something for someone else, this month would be a month when you may want to schedule in some time for doing something nice for someone else.

Remember that your personal theme for the month may be a little different depending on your birthday, but the universal theme will affect your personal theme. Whatever your particular situation, schedule some time this month for fun and adventure, for family, and for doing nice things for others. Expect the unexpected. Be ready for some changes to possibly upset your plans. Go with the flow as much as you can. You may need to let go of some things or give up your needs and wants temporarily to assist someone else or to achieve a greater goal of some kind.

There are some retrograde planets this month, so if you have trips planned or other situations that need to move forward, they may not happen until later in the month, or maybe there are some unexpected delays. I am not an astrologer, but here is a link to some important astrological themes for May. Her predictions for May go along with the numerology aspects of the number 3 and the number 5, which I chatted about earlier.

If you are interested in shifting away from some unresolved energies which have kept you stuck or unhealed emotionally, mentally, spiritually or even physically, you may want to consider a private session! I see clients in person in Winchester Virginia, as well as on Zoom or the phone. I also have some events coming up! Check them out here!

Now let's chat about some of the more minor cards in the tarot that also reflect 3 energy. These are related to the four suits in the Tarot, cups, wands, pentacles, and swords. You may have one or more of these cards' themes come up for you this month too.

Take a moment and reflect on these four cards and pick the one that jumps out at you. Then, read the description below for the card you chose. Keep it in mind as May unfolds, and see if anything resonates with what ends up to be your experience this month.

Did you pick a card??

Okay, now look and see which card you picked.

All of these cards are the three card in each of the four suits of the Tarot: the three of pentacles, the three of wands, the three of cups, and the three of swords.

Let's talk about each of these cards and what experiences you may have related to the particular card you chose.

The three of pentacles (the first card) has to do with work. In this card, your skills are being recognized and appreciated. You may need to collaborate with others or find others looking to your for your expertise. Money is perhaps going to come your way as your skills and expertise are sought after. You may get a promotion, or change jobs if the one you currently have is not utilizing your skills.

The three of wands (card number 2) has to do with embarking on an adventure! You may either plan a trip or a move. Travel is often indicated with this card. This card can also be associated with abundance, as it is sometimes seen as watching your ship come in, so to speak. You may leave one aspect of life and begin something new. You may have some sort of spiritual awakening. You may acquire knowlege that takes you to a whole new experience of life.

The three of cups (card number 3) is all about celebration and having a good time. This is often a card of weddings or just going out with friends. Fun and good times are indicated. Maybe you need to go out dancing. You may be celebrating a happy event with friends or family. You may need to be proactive and reach out to your friends for some socializing.

The three of swords (card number 4) is the least happy of these four cards for sure. This is commonly known as the card of a broken heart. There are a lot of reasons why we may be nursing a broken heart. We may be grieving a loss of some kind. We may have been betrayed by someone we love. You may want to get your physical heart checked if you are having any health symptoms. There is really no sugar-coating this card. Tragedy, loss, sadness, or disappointment of some sort may show up for you. Just as I mentioned when I was talking about the Hanged Man, sometimes we have to let go of things that are no longer life to us in order to welcome in the next chapter of our lives. This is not always fun, but is an unavoidable aspect of the circle of life and death.

No matter what ends up unfolding for you this month, know that life is by definition unpredictable. We do what we can to manifest our highest good and be a good person. But some things are out of our control. The best we can do is go with the flow of life, do the best we can do, and let go of the things that we can't change. Say goodbye to what we need to release, send love to those people and things that are passing out of our lives, and say hello to the next expression of our souls.

If you want to explore more of who I am and what I do, feel free to check me out! I have several events coming up where you can connect with me, or feel free to reach out and schedule a private session. Let's get you on track to experiencing your highest good! AT
